Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned is the first in a new line of downloadable games, and although it isn’t standalone it sure feels like it.

With the initial Grand Theft Auto 4, which was released last year, you took charge of the fresh of the boat Niko Bellic, a war veteran from Eastern Europe who came to America in search of the American Dream. You can basically forget all about that, as this new content has spent less time on developing the city and your environment, and more time developing new characters and story lines.
In this game your character is Johnny Klebitz the lieutenant of The Lost Motorcycle club, who has been in charge of the gang since its leader Billy Grey went to rehab (court appointed). But now Billy is out and he isn’t happy with the way his bikie gang has been turned from a dominant force in the community to making back alley treaties with their rival gangs. So with Billy back in charge, Johnny better watch out as there is quite a lot of hostility building up between him and his long time brother in arms, and this is where things start to get interesting.
The gameplay is the same as GTA 4, which isn’t a bad thing, it appears as though they have fixed a few of the aiming bugs, and have smoothed out some of its rough edges.
Overall, this game is worth the purchase if you were a fan of the other games in the GTA line-up. It will set you back around 1600 Microsoft points.
