Home theatre company Bowers & Wilkins has made a brave prediction accompanying the release of its latest audio/video loudspeaker, claiming that ‘lifestyle is over.’
In fact, B&W is suggesting that fancy loudspeaker design can cripple the ability for the boxes to produce lifelike sounds, claiming instead that performance is where it’s at.
“The overwhelming popularity of flat panel TVs has created much demand for slim, stylish loudspeakers,” says Convoy

The VM6 reportedly offers commensurate sound quality to B&W’s award-winning CM1.
Used on the wall or on its dedicated stand, the VM6 has ample bass extension to fill a room with sound and can be teamed up with a B&W subwoofer for added performance, says Convoy.
The VM6 is a two-way, ported, wall-mount or stand-mount design, which can be placed in either a vertical or horizontal position. The wall bracket and table-top stand are unique in that they are first wired with speaker cables and then the speaker slides into the bracket or stand to provide contact for the audio signals.
