Westinghouse Ovens — More Space, More Smarts

Westinghouse claims its new Boss range of ovens provide the largest useable internal capacity (66 litres) of any standard-sized built-in oven.

Westinghouse says its research identified large internal capacity as a key desirable consumer feature. Another factor it said consumers desired was energy efficiency. It claims to have been able to achieve an A Class energy rating and is able to heat to over 200C in less than 10 minutes.

Other features, such as smooth internal curves rather than corners and a glass-backed oven door make cleaning easier, says Westinghouse, which also spruiks an odour-free insulation and a quieter and more even oven fan.

 “Our designers and engineers have developed a range of ovens with Australian families’ interests at heart,” says Westinghouse’s John C. Brown. “It’s an innovative, efficient and effective oven system that can hold more, be kind on power bills, cook better and be easier to use.”
