Brother Plays The Name Game

Brother has released two new electronic labellers to intelligently cover a wide range of potential applications.

Brother’s new range of P-touch electronic labellers, the PT-1280 and PT-1830, can print on super narrow tape width of 3.5 mm, have a slimline ergonomic design and luxurious metallic feel.

The PT-1280 is a portable electronic labeller which features three favourite label memory buttons for instant storage and recall of frequently used labels. The model is suited to those requiring basic labelling as well as those reliant on portability. Brother has flagged electricians as a key target market. The PT-1280 (RRP $99) prints on a super-narrow tape width of 3.5 mm – the smallest available in Australia. The width is particularly suited to fine labelling requirements such as slimline CD jewel cases.

The PT-1830 is a professional desktop electronic labeller, featuring a 15-character LCD which displays the size, style and frame options selected, so the user can easily view and change text before printing. The PT-1830 (RRP $149) has five favourite label memory buttons which allow the user to store, retrieve and print labels at the press of a button.

Both the PT-1830 and PT-1280 have QWERTY keyboards for easy typing, a wide range of type sizes, styles, print widths and framing options. They operate on batteries and AC power.

The labels are laminated for exceptional durability.
