Flexi-Tab: Samsung Secret Weapon In Apple War?

Its bends but won’t break. Meet Samsung new flexi AMOLED screens, destined for tabs and smartphones in the future.
The amazing video showcasing the see-through 3D flexi-display show a smartphone being unfolded to become a tablet device, which communicates with the world via the screen, becoming an e-reader, newspaper and even an interpreter by simply talking to it.

The concept display was revealed on a video posted by Samsung Mobile Display yesterday and points to the future direction the smartphone giant sees display’s going.

The first batch of Samsung’s bendy smartphones are due for release 2012 although won’t be anything as futuristic as per the teaser above.

 

Nokia already developed a similar concept but not a peep on see-through screens from Apple, yet.
