Apple Maps boss has reportedly been given the flick.
Richard Williamson is believed to have been fired from the Cupertino giant, reports Bloomberg, just weeks after the mapping fiasco that left iOS 6 users scratching their heads wondering how to get places.
Apple’s Senior Vice President Eddy Cue was said to have pulled the trigger on Williamson.
Tim Cook even issued a public apology in the wake of the Apple Maps crises, the second time ever Cupertino has done so, and a wake up call for a company who was believed could do no wrong.
The latest shake up at the top of Apple comes as Scott Forstall, the man in charge of its iOS mobile software division, left the company last month, along with retail boss, John Browet, who was in the job just 6 months.
