If you’re a gamer in dire need of a mobile solution far more powerful than Apple’s iPhone, this is for you.
In the past, Razer has worked on mouse, headsets and keyboards, fine tuning them for optimal ergonomics and functionality. They’ve taken this fastidious attention to detail and crafted the Blade laptop, which combines impressive hardware and their unique Switchblade UI touch pad into a notebook that is just 0.8 inches thick.
The most interesting trait of the Blade is its 10 adaptive tactile keys and its multi-touch LCD panel, which displays in game information. |
Inside the notebook is an Intel i7 3632QM, a 2GB Geforce GTX 660M, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, 64GB SSD and 8GB (1600mhz) of DDR3 RAM. Games are displayed on its 17″ LED screen which has the same resolution as a Full HD (1920×1080) TV. It’s some serious spec considering its on-the-go swagger.

But this orgy of gaming finesse comes at an expensive $2,999 price. Razer believes hardcore gamers will see the value as, in their opinion, the Blade is the “World’s first true gaming laptop.”
The Razer Blade will be available from selected JB HiFi stores November 1st. You can also pick one up from Razer’s online store.
