Sharp Show Two New 70″ LED TV’s

Sharp has announced two 70-inch Aquos Quattron TV’s including a 3D model at the International CES in Las Vegas, this is a tad smaller than the World’s Largest TV that they announced two years ago.

The Aquos Quattron LE732 and LE935 are based on Sharp’s tenth-generation LCD panels which incorporate the new 4 colour RGBY Quattron technology that delivers what Sharp describes as a superior picture quality of “all other LED and LCD TV’s being sold today” because of the introduction of the fourth yellow which is a proprietary technology owned by Sharp who invented LCD TV technology.

According to Sharp the total screen area actually leaps an impressive 62 percent. The display screen uses the AquoMotion 240Hz refresh rate engine and has, built-in Wi-Fi and apps. Even more impressive, they will offer full-array backlighting, rather than the usual edge-lit technology associated with Sharp TV’s.

It is not known when the TV’s will be launched in Australia.
