Choice Picks Top Three All Rounder Notebooks

Choice Australia has ranked the top notebooks in Australia with Toshiba, ASUS and Fujitsu taking the top three spots.

The consumer testing organisation often works in conjunction with Consumer Reports in the USA, who earlier this month paused the Apple sales juggernaut by slamming the antenna performance of their new iPhone 4.
According to Choice, the top three notebooks were the Toshiba Satellite L550 which sells for $1,540. It scored a mark of 78 per cent out of 100.

 This was followed by the ASUS  K52Fwhich sells for $998. It ranked a score of 76 per cent. This was follwed by theFujitsu Lifebook AH550 which sells for $1,540. It also ranked at 76 per cent.  
Choice said that the Fuitsu Lifebook had the longest  battery life and came with a two year warranty. On the downside it only had 2GB of RAM as standard.
In contrast the Toshiba Satellite L550 had the best overall score and the best performance score according to Choice.
