Kids On-Line Safety, Key To Detective

Cybermart Detectives is an online initiative being rolled out by the Australian Communication and Media Authority (ACMA) to help raise awareness amongst kids about online safety.

The new programme will be provided to schools free-of-charge in an effort to make their students aware of on-line dangers in cyberspace. Key elements the children will learn include not giving out personal information over the Internet, being aware that some people on-line are not who they say they are, and making sure a parent accompanies them if they plan to meet somebody they have met in a chat room.
