Voda’s six new smartphone deals, available on iPhone, Android, Windows and BlackBerry’s, start at a cheap $19 for 100MB data, $29 (200MB), $59 (1.5GB) up to $99 (with a generous 4GB data) monthly.

$29 plans and above come with the troubled telco’s ‘Infinite’ frills, meaning endless (standard) calls to other Vodafone users in Australia, and infinite social networking so you can Facebook and Tweet til your hearts content.

Smarties on the new plans include the potent Android running HTC Sensation XL which is now free and Samsung’s Galaxy S II costs $5 on the $29 plan, while on the $49 plan the S II is free and an iPhone 4S is $15 per month.

On Voda’s cheapest deal, $19 will get you the HTC Explorer or Nokia C2 01.

Other smarties of note include the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.0  free on $59 cap and Apple’s cult iPhone 4S is also available on $59, $79 or $99 plans.

The $79 plan is pretty sweet with ‘Infinite’ national talk and text, Voda to Voda and 3 calls in Australia, 2GB data, as does the $99 deal.

All plans are available for consumer and business users.

Tablets available on Voda’s new mobile broadband bundles (with smartphones) start at $45 with 2GB data over 2 years and all plans come with 2GB additional DropBox storage, the telco anounced today.

There are also 12 month plans available and devices on offer include Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 on Android or iPad 2 16GB 64GB. All bundled tabs are zero cost upfront.

The telco has also revamped sim only mobile deals which now start at $20 -$85 p.m business and mobile Internet deals for extra data allowance which now start at $5 for 750MB, $10 for 2GB, and $25 for 8GB monthly allowance with Infinite social networking.

New Mobile Broadband (MBB) deals, come in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB options costing $15 (free USB), while the $20 and $30 both come with either free modem or WiFi.

And to get to grip with your charges the red telco has released a new mobile data calculator, to help ensure they have the right amount of data in their plans.

“We recognise that our customers are changing the way they communicate, so we’re giving them more options to build a plan that suits their needs.” Noel Hamill, Director of Sales and Marketing said.

“We’re rolling out a new network especially for smartphones, tablets and mobile internet data, and we?re now offering the very latest smartphones, tablets and mobile broadband devices on great value plans.”

This comes as Vodafone announced a net loss of $167.7m on Friday last as aftermath of network woes experienced in 2011 continue to bite.

It also said it lost 200,000 customers in the six months to 31 December last so will be hoping these new plan will win back disillusioned subscribers.

The telco has also revised its International call packs, which now start at $5 per month for 50 minutes of standard international calls to fixed and mobile numbers in over 20 countries.
