Hollywood actor and former bad boy RDJ is the “subversive” star in a hilarious 2 minute YouTube video about the original Android mobile maker – HTC – which, he says, could mean ‘Humongous Tinfoil Catamaran’ or ‘Hold This Cat’ or even ‘Happy Telephone Company’.
Actually, the HTC video caption suggests it means ‘Here To Change’- pointing to difference between it and Android clones, including the great sound on its Boom Sound speaker on the One.
The Taiwanese company has been under increasing pressure of late, with sales, profit slumping to all time lows, and no longer the Android darling brand it once was, having been eclipsed by Samsung, in particular.
