Pressing the lit ‘Audio-Technica’ logo/button activates the mic or scrolls through music tracks. Pretty cool. The price, too, is cool at $219 RRP – cheaper than some of the Monster and Bose headsets.
Audio-Technica have also enlarged ear-cup diameters – the ear cushions and headband are now made of memory foam, and the headband hugs the head for a lighter ‘feel’ and fit.
The ATH-ANC70 superior noise-cancellation technology with 40mm drivers and high-quality internal components delivers clear, detailed sound and bass, with natural midrange and extended treble.
The headphones function in a passive mode when the noise-cancelling function is off or the battery is flat.
The ATH-ANC70 folds flat for storage and comes with a hard carrying case, a 1/4-inch adapter, airline adapter and AAA battery which will provide up to 40 hours of operation.
