Most of us harbor a desire to go wandering along that proverbial mountain track.
In reality the great outdoors for most of us means a comfortable
deckchair. A few cool drinks and the company of friends and family in the
Aussie backyard.
These days we’re more than likely to invite a wireless
portable speaker as versatile as the Philips BT6000B. At $179.95 this
compact wireless sound blaster is the perfect choice for the yard, the deco or
the den, in fact anywhere you want to enjoy music without cables.
What’s more the BT6000B is equipped with the very latest Bluetooth
wireless technology. With this feature you can pair the Philips with an iPod, IPhone,
iPad or indeed any other device that also has Bluetooth.
Within minutes using NFC-enabled technology you’ll be able
to enjoy your favourite tracks stored on these devices or the sound from video
or games wirelessly and effortlessly. And you can use the BT6000B vertically or
horizontally.
The Philips BT6000B has also been designed with big sound in
mind. Turn it on and it plays loud, proud and clearly.
The secret to such a big sound from what’s a compact package
is the twin 1.5-inch Neodymium speaker drivers Phillips has chosen for the BT6000B.
These are augmented by dual opposing passive radiators to extend and increase
the amount of bass. So front and back full-range drivers deliver a 360-degree sound
field. Internally Phillips has installed its own unique, sophisticated, digital
sound processing technology that generates a highly detailed sound.
Designed with the outdoors in mind, the BT6000B is splash
proof so you can also enjoy music in the kitchen or bathroom. A built-in
rechargeable Li-ion battery means you can power up wherever there’s no power
point. And a built-in microphone ensures the BT6000B works nicely for
hands-free phone calls.
