Italian appliance brand Olimpia Splendid is taking the dehumidifier into smarter territory with its new Aquaria S1 range – compact air-treatment systems designed for modern Australian homes battling dampness, allergens and poor indoor air quality.
The lineup includes three models – the Aquaria S1 12 P, 16 P and flagship 24 P – all built around sleek Italian styling by designer Alessio Abdolahian, whose previous work on the Dolceclima Air Pro series picked up a Good Design Award.
But these units are about more than pulling moisture from the air. Olimpia Splendid has positioned the Aquaria range as an all-season air-treatment solution, combining dehumidification with advanced filtration.

Even the entry-level models feature anti-dust and activated carbon filters, while the top-tier Aquaria S1 24 P adds HEPA filtration capable of trapping particles as small as 0.3 microns – a growing priority for allergy sufferers and urban households.
The range also leans heavily into smart-home convenience. Touch controls are standard across all models, while the 24-litre flagship adds integrated Wi-Fi, letting users control humidity levels remotely via smartphone app.

Noise levels are impressively low, topping out at just 40dB, while the units feature practical touches including motorised airflow flaps, laundry-dry functions, automatic defrosting and easy-roll transport wheels.
Performance scales from 12 litres per day for smaller spaces up to 24 litres per day for rooms as large as 100 cubic metres.
Environmental credentials also get attention, with all three models using low-impact R290 refrigerant gas with a Global Warming Potential rating of just three.
