Absolute Audio Vision is set to bring Arcam’s rCube iPod docking station to Australia next month for $998.

This new docking station not only plays music from your iPod or iPhone but can also be used in conjunction with an ARCAM dongle to play media files from your computer or iPad wirelessly using the Kleer Technology system. It’s Arcam designed amplifiers and unique speaker system deliver room filling sound while being physically smaller than a football.
The rCube is also a portable music player that promises ‘up to four hours of music at proper party volume are possible or up to eight hours of listening are available at more modest levels’.
According to the company, the rCube is the result of more than three years of design and development and features a unique acoustic structure.
Absolute Audio Vision said that the rCube will be available in black early December while its White model will be available in January 2011.
