The latest earbuds from the Swedish company JAYS – called the a-JAYS Five – are a durable yet still sexy-looking set of earbuds, able to give you great all-round sound for the reasonable price of $119.95.
A stand-out feature is the fact these earbuds don’t
let everyone know what you’re listening to by leaking sound, making it so much
more comfortable to use them when you are on a train, an aeroplane or at work.
When it all comes down to it, the a-JAYS Five are
an impressive piece of kit. Their design is classic and they produce good sound
across a variety of musical genres. Overall, the sound quality is of a high
level for the price range, with no noticeable distortion at loud volumes,
regardless of the style of music being played.
Available
through Harvey Norman, authorised online retailers and selected airport stores,
they come in black or white and in three different versions for iOS, Android,
and Windows. They come with four different-sized tips, so you can customise
them to most ear sizes, plus they have a handy cord clip and a solid carry case
to protect them when you are not using them.
The
cable is a good length at 115cm and allows your iPhone, iPad or iPod to sit in
your pocket or bag comfortably while still allowing for reasonable levels of
movement. The simple yet so effective, flat cord means that there are far fewer
problems associated with any annoying twisting and tangling.
