Acer Products Receive iF Design Award 2016 Recognition

Acer has had five of its products recognised in the computer category by the iF Design Award 2016.Acer’s awarded products include a desktop and monitor from its Predator gaming
line, a modular mini PC and another two additional monitors.

The winning Acer products are the:

– Predator G6 gaming desktop – running Windows 10, powered by 6th generation Intel Core i7-6700K processors, and equipped with 64 GB DDR4 dual-channel memory, the Predator G6 sports “a radically redesigned armour-like shell crafted to look the part of an unstoppable fighting machine”, with the casing allowing for a bi-directional inflow of air to enable the IceTunnel cooling, also housing expansion slots, supporting up to 12 TB of storage.

• Revo Build mini PC – the Revo Build is customised with blocks providing different functions, such as extra storage, speakers and microphones, connected via magnetic pogo pins, with the blocks also working independently or with other PCs, while a one litre chassis with a 125 x 125 mm footprint takes up minimal space.

  – Predator Z35 curved gaming monitor – decked out with Nvidia G-Sync, the Predator Z35’s 35″ 21:9 ultra-wide full-HD (2,560 x 1,080) panel features a curvature of 2000R “for immersive, wraparound gaming”. It supports overclocking to a 200 Hz refresh rate, and is decked out with DTS Sound, 9 W x 2 speakers and Acer TrueHarmony technology.

  – Acer XR342CK curved monitor – the Acer XR342CK features a curved 34″ 21:9 panel with a 1900R curvature, 6-axis colour adjustment and DTS Sound, with a customisable ambient light at the lower edge of the monitor providing lighting effects, while the base can swivel from -30 to +30 degrees.

  – Acer H277HU monitor – part of the H7 series monitors, the 27″ Acer H277HU supports USB Type-C, features a ZeroFrame design, a diamond-cut and brushed-metal stand, WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) display resolution, Acer TrueHarmony and DTS Sound.
