An LG TV Option For Everyone

Place all of the TVs that make up LG’s staggering 2014 TV range up against each other and you’d probably end up with a line the length of a couple of cricket pitches.

Now, display a different program on each of the snazzy new LG TVs and what you’d attract is a steady stream of consumers enjoying their shopping expedition inside a store the size of an aircraft hangar.

In reality, buyers on the hunt for a new TV would be advised to stroll leisurely into a number of stores, both small and large, to see what’s on offer in the way of TVs.

Either way, LG has all the TV bases loaded with its huge range of new TVs. Which just goes to prove, when it comes to TVs, LG is a game-changer – a game changer with a TV primed to fit snugly into every budget for the vast majority of TV buyer’s needs.

To keep things simple for the average consumer, LG has thankfully ranged the new TV range into three logical series.

LG L Series – LED Backlit LCD TVs

The ”Mum and Dad’ market will plunge straight into models comprising the L Series of Full HD LED/LCD TVs.

They’ll be attracted by the variety of screen sizes, picture quality and feature count they can get if they spend RRP $479 to RRP $4,299 on these TVs, which come in 32, 42, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70-inch versions.

Smart TV
Those with teenage children will want the Smart TV feature offered by the Smart TV models priced from RRP $649 to RRP $3,299.  Screen sizes they can choose from are 32, 42, 50, 55, 60 and 65-inches.

Parents will love Smart TV because it provides them with the opportunity to watch online content that includes ABC iView and SBS OnDemand. The kids will also gravitate to online content and be able to use their devices to stream content that will keep them absorbed for hours.

Smart TV Powered by webOS
The webOS operating system is intuitively simple to use. Consumers will be greeted with some awesome apps when they connect their LG Smart TV powered by webOS, including ABC iView, SBS on Demand, Skype, YouTube, Fairfax and BigPond Movies. There’s also an online browser that will allow them to surf the web with their family from the comfort of the couch.
Prices range from RRP $899 to RRP $4,299 for Smart TVs powered by webOS, and they come in a choice of 32, 42, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70-inch versions.

LG U Series – 4K Ultra HD TV

One of the highlights of LGs TV range is undoubtedly the 4K Ultra HD models, which, as the name implies, deliver picture quality with an ”ultra” level of clarity and reality.

This is no idle boast. While a quality Full HD LG TV generates pictures using around 2 million pixels, these TV aristocrats use approximately 8.3 million pixels.

As with some TV’s in LG’s L Series, the 4K Ultra HD TV range boasts LG’s Smart TV powered by webOS. A key feature of the 2014 range, LG’s webOS platform allows simple access to content that consumers love the most.

Prices range from RRP $2,399 to RRP $14,999 for the 49, 55, 65, 79 and 84-inch models.
LG E Series – OLED TV

One LG TV we’d all love to take home is the standard setting OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) model (55EA9800). This 55-inch curved screen creation is a fine example of sheer ingenuity and beauty.

The curved screen provides a greater level of viewing immersion, while the OLED technology displays picture quality of the highest order. Displaying infinite contrast levels, smooth, fast-moving pictures and blacks so deep, you’ll need a torch to see where you are, the price of this remarkable OLED is a disarming RRP $5,999.

LG has a TV to suit all needs. The question is what are you waiting for?
