BenQ Adds To Oz Home Projector Line-Up

BenQ has brought its W1110 and W2000 1080p full-HD home video projectors to the Australian market, decked out with a range of features to create a home cinema experience.BenQ states the video projectors deliver a “1080p full-HD-optimised optical system for unmatched picture clarity and details”, delivering professional-quality audio-visual projection.

The W1110 “brings the true movie theatre experience into the home with sharp, crystal-clear picture quality”, with the W2000 taking “the home cinema experience to another level”, incorporating BenQ technology that achieves the Rec. 709 standard for HD colour reproduction.

BenQ states the W2000 has been precisely calibrated utilising a six-times speed RGBRGB colour wheel, replicating “stunning true colours for a superb viewing experience”, delivering the Rec. 709 standard.

The W2000’s video enhancer features include motion enhancer, colour enhancer, pixel enhancer and flesh

tone enhancer, while both models feature speakers housed in resonant sound chambers (W1110 – 10 W, and W2000 20 W), along with the BenQ CinemaMaster Audio Enhancer powered by MaxxAudio.

Sporting an ultramodern design, BenQ states the newly enhanced airflow and fan architecture in the W2000 and W1110’s thermal systems reduces acoustic noise to 27 dBA in Eco mode, the lowest fan noise in its class.

Both the W1110 and W2000 are available with a full-HD wireless kit, allowing streaming of uncompressed 1080p content and providing coverage of up to 100 feet.

The W1110 carries a price tag of $1,499 RRP and the W2000 $2,499 RRP (supplied with two pairs of 3D glasses, with additional pairs available for $129 RRP), with the WDP01 wireless full-HD kit carrying a price tag of $549 RRP.
