The world’s tallest residential apartment building was recently completed on the Gold Coast. Each of the tower’s 526 apartments is fitted out with high-speed synchronous broadband thanks to Data FX.
Using a Nortel network, integrator Data FX has been equipped the Sunland Group’s new Q1 apartment building in Surfers Paradise, which for a time at least is the world’s tallest residential tower.
Designers of the iconic Q1 chose to equip the 80 floors with a network on par with any urban business centre. Apart from the 500 plus apartments, the building also houses conference facilities, ground floor retail outlets, sandy beach lagoon swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness centre, and

“There’s a misconception that living on the Gold Coast compromises access to world-class business facilities, so Q1 is about to change all that.
