Cheap-As-Chips 19 Inch Widescreen LCD

Pioneer Computers has rolled out a $399 19 inch LCD monitor, which it claims has an 8MS response time.

The CMV 937A is also claimed to provide an impressive 1440 X 900/WXGA resolution and 600:1 contrast ratio.

“With pricing like this, the widescreen 19 inch LCD monitor is the way of the future and will supplant current 17 inch and 19 inch 4:3 aspect ratio models very quickly. It is the mainstream LCD monitor in 2006 overseas,” says distributor for the brand, Pioneer Computers Australia, which adds that forward orders for the monitor are already running hot.

Pioneer Computers Australia says CMV monitors are manufactured by Chi Mei, one of the world’s largest LCD panel manufacturers.

The CMV 937A is available in silver and black colours and features a three-year warranty.

An optional TV tuner is available.
