Xoom is first ever Honeycomb 3.0 tab to hit Oz shores.

The much anticipated Android running Honeycomb platform, features a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 5MP front-facing and 2MP rear-facing cameras, true multi-tasking functionality, and the latest Google Mobile services on a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display.
It also has an interactive, customisable homescreen with moveable widgets, notifications and tabbed browsing – on a 10.1-inch 1280×800 widescreen HD display, delivering richer video content.
It will also support HDMI for viewing content on larger screens and also supports a beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10.2 enabling Flash-based Web content videos and games.
The latest Google Mobile services include Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction, Gmail and Talk are just some of the tools on offer and of course access to the Android Market.
And while most reviewers are impressed with the new Honeycomb 3.0 operating system, feedback from tech sites , so far, is mixed due to the sparse number of Android tablet apps.
Xoom also features other handy tools like a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting.
No price has been confirmed yet although it is tipped to lie in the region of $795 -$895.
The tablet supports up to 10 hours of video playback and charges quickly in just 3.5 hours.
According to sources Telstra is set to offer the new Motorola device on a plan for as low as $59 a month with a data card, although plan and pricing details won’t be be announced until nearer the release date, Telstra said today.
The Honeycomb device is set to be released along with the new Motorola Atrix handset in mid May and the mobile giant say the release as “re-defines the tablet experience.”
“Motorola XOOM is the next generation of tablet, and the one after that,” Timo Brouwer, MD , Motorola Mobility believes.
