Cufflinks could make a comeback, after a US store that is popular with Australians started selling cufflinks with built in Wi Fi hotspot and the ability to store data.U.S. luxury retailer Brookstone hit on the idea of selling technology enabled cufflinks last year; the devices are now available online and in their US stores.
The devices allow users to simply unplug the cufflink, slip it into a laptop, and then anyone in range will be able to access a web site or their email.
James Bond and Q would have been proud.

Brookstone said that by turning your wrist into a mobile hotspot you are able to surf the web with your smart phone, iPad or any other electronic device.
They also double as a USB storage device with 2GB of space, just enough for a secret agent to plug into a computer and steal some documents.
The interesting part is whether the technology is detectable when passing through airport scanners.
For the fashion conscious the cufflinks come in polished silver and are oval shaped.
The price is a mere $249.99. Brookstone claims they are ‘perfect for business meetings, travel and techies everywhere’.
