Dell has just hit Samsung where it hurts with the launch of a low cost wide screen 27″ all in one PC that is up to $1,300 cheaper than a similar Samsung model.

Dell says it is “reimagining” the all-in-one computer, with an offering for consumers who appreciate good design and multimedia entertainment.
The new XPS One 27, Dell’s largest ever all-in-one, comes with a wide-format 16:9 WLED 27-inch display and also offers an optional slot-load Blu-ray disc drive.
On the inside, it has an Intel Ivy Bridge quad-core processor with “Turbo Boost” technology. The XPS One 27 starts at $1699 which is $1,200 cheaper than the new Samsung 27″ all in one PC that is being sold exclusively at Harvey Norman for $2,900
Dell faces competition in the all-in-one market from Apple’s iMac line and a raft of models from the likes of HP, Asus and Samsung.
