Dell Oz Boss Quits

Dell ANZ boss Joe Kremer, has quit for personal reasonsKremer, Managing Director for Dell ANZ, has been at the helm of the PC giant, locally, for almost ten years.

He also held the role of President for Dell South Asia and ANZ.

Kremer made the move “to spend time with his family and to pursue personal and philanthropic interests,” a company statement indicated.

He has worked at the Sydney office since January 2005 and joined Dell in 2003 at company headquarters at Round Rock, Texas.
He will be replaced by Angela Fox who is currently Dell Vice President & General Manager – Services, Asia Pacific & Japan.
Also a Dell veteran, she has worked at the PC company since 2007 as Executive Director – Enterprise Solutions ANZ, followed by roles in Asia.
“Having hired Angela into the business in 2007, it extremely gratifying to see her success at Dell,” Kremer said today .
“It is a testament to her achievements that she is returning to run the business in ANZ.”
The New Zealander will commence her new role in 7 July.
Dell has sought to reinvent itself, of late, part of CEO Michael Dell grand plan, after he regained control of the company back from investors.
“I won. It’s over,” Dell  declared in an interview this week with USA Today.
“I feel liberated and unleashed. There is an infectious feeling with winning.”
Dell has grown its PC shipments globally for the last five consecutive quarters and is now focused on channel partnerships in the post PC world.
