Electrolux is continuing its ‘war on white’ mantra with a range of brightly-coloured kitchen and laundry appliances for the home which the brand is calling “bold” and “daring” – but only in Europe.
No plans have been revealed to release the products locally, according to Electrolux, but the fact that the brand sent the notice to Australian appliance press suggests we could be seeing the models on our shores soon.

The brand has chosen various of its high-end environmental products to convert into eye-boggling design pieces, including the Iron Aid Dryer which assists with ironing (and was plugged at launch by fashion designer Alex Perry whose face has graced many a laundry appliance in the past year including an iron and ironing board by Sunbeam.
After much research, Electrolux realised that consumers pay attention to manufacturers who can express themselves through design.
“With the Colour Passion range, we want to stretch the boundaries of appliance design to show household products no longer have to be boring and white. We want to give consumers the opportunity to express their individuality and style through colours and patterns”, said Electrolux Communications Europe vice president, Ulrich Gartner.
The appliances come in four colours: Deep Gold, Orange Spice, Velvet Lilla and Frosted Green.
