Retailers and Re-sellers visiting the CES 2011 show in Las Vegas were treated to a sneak peak of an Android Tablet designed to make Home Automation simpler, and more enjoyable, to control.
Enspert’s Identity S200 device, which has been developed as a Service Over Internet Protocol (SoIP) device, brings together multimedia content and applications from the Android market and enables content sharing across multiple devices, such as the tablet, mobile handset, PC and TV, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) video calling, as well as home monitoring and appliance management via the Cloud.
Users can also benefit from accessing mounted smart-grid functions through DLNA connected devices around the home, via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other standard networks.
Sang-su Lee, president of the Korean company, said it was an honour to offer the first glimpse of the technology at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas.
He said: “The Identity S200 is an exciting step towards offering consumers a more seamless experience as they continue to integrate new technologies and devices into their digital lives. The Identity product lineage will continue to evolve into a cutting-edge network for the digital lifestyle.”
The Enspert product ecosystem, including the Identity S200, supports maximum connectivity between neighboring multimedia devices using the ConvergenceOne platform, the optimal solution for 3-screen media convergence in IP-based fixed/wireless integrated network environments.
The product is due to be launched in Korea later this month, with other leading markets scheduled to see the new tablet in the coming months.
