Epson’s New Range Adds HDR and Ultra 4K Support

Epson are launching their latest range of projectors this September, bringing the brand into 2016 with support for 4K Ultra HD and HDR video content to the table.

The company promises film buffs will be able to get the “ultimate home cinema experience” with the EH-TW8300 ($4,499), EH-TW9300 ($4,799) and EH-TW9300W range, since they’ve been designed to offer 4K enhancement, UHD Blu-ray and high dynamic range support.

They’re also touting motorised optics and lens position memory with Epson promising to enable “viewers to watch films as the director intended” as a by-product.

In addition, the 9300W ($4,999) works is designed with Wireless HD streaming in mind – making setup easier. 

According to Epson Australia’s Craig Heckenberg, “The latest technologies integrated in these models, such as 4K enhancement and UHD Blu-ray and HDR support, mark a significant improvement in image quality and will really enhance the user’s overall experience.”

“But what’s great is that they’re also easy to use, with motorised optics and lens position memory making everything from installation to every day use simple and hassle-free.”

The company are also launching a new range of mid-tier home theatre solutions, optimised for plug-and-play setup. 

The EH-TW6700W ($2,949), EH-TW6700 ($2,649), EH-TW6800 ($3,199) and EH-TW8300 ($4,499) promise Full HD 1080p across both 2D and 3D video, with an enhanced super resolution function thrown in for good measure.
