Canon Australia’s Brand Manager for Digital Still Cameras, Kimberly Langton said: “The new PowerShot A480 camera is perfect for newcomers to photography, incorporating simple and intuitive operation with features such as Face Detection and Motion Detection, making it easy to capture great shots every time. The refined new design will be a welcome update for consumers who are looking for durability as well as a friendly and compact design.”
The A480 features 15 scene modes such as Portrait, Beach or Kids and Pets – making it simple to shoot great pictures in any situation. Its 2.5-inch LCD monitor makes it easy for a user to shoot and view images, while its 10-megapixel sensor provides high-quality photos.
