Publisher David Richards said “In a few months time we will go to a new HTML 5 version of SmartHouse. This allows us to deliver video and additional content across multiple platforms including smartphones, tablets and PCs, and by the end of the TV as an application”.

“The benefit to consumers is that they get a richer content experience than print. We can also measure the traffic downloading a digital magazine and with the new HTML5 engine we will be able to measure the amount of time that consumers have played a content video or clicked through to an advertisers page”.
