Fujifilm To Debut First Mirrorless Cams Next Year

Japan’s Fujifilm Holdings Corp. has mirrorless digital cameras in the works according to early reports from the Nikkei.
A first for the company, the mirrorless cameras are planned to be released sometime after March in 2012, or Japan’s spring season.

The news follows Nikon’s announcement of its own mirrorless camera last month, the Nikon 1, after previously steering clear of that section of the camera market.

The mirrorless camera division, made up of interchangeable lens cameras that lean closer to compact cams than their larger DSLR counterparts, is currently made up of many of the big camera brands like Panasonic, Olympus and Sony.
