Fujitsu’s new LifeBook U2010 PC, the successor to the U1010, is claimed to have a long battery life and comes with the ability to wirelessly connect to any FM radio and its audio output to play music – in this case, straight from the notebook’s music library, using only the car’s FM stereo system.

And, should you decide to take the road less travelled and end up getting lost, the LifeBook U2010 can straighten out your journey with its on-the-travel map courtesy of its integrated GPS module.
The unit comes with a full-featured Windows Vista OS with a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, allowing users to utilise instant messaging and online chatting.
It is also able to provide mobile connectivity via WLAN 11a/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 to minimise work downtime for business travellers on the go, letting them send and receive emails promptly. This tablet-convertible notebook’s storage space (up to 100GB or option of 64GB SSD) means that having big business files on hand for reference should not be a problem.
In addition, this petite PC swivels and turns over to double up as a handheld tablet PC that lets you scribble in short notes for automatic conversion to soft copy text – even when using your fingers instead of a stylus.
To make sure this mini laptop doesn’t slide out of your grip, it has a slip-resistant base. Running on the latest Intel Ultra Mobile platform 2008 with Intel Centrino Atom processor (1.6GHz) and Intel System Controller Hub, means it doesn’t use as much power as its contemporaries, therefore has longer battery life, claims the manufacturer.
It has a high-resolution SuperFine 5.6-inch WXGA 1280 x 800 screen with 300nits brightness. There is a suite of security features including a two-level BIOS lock. In addition, it has a Fingerprint Sensor, which allows the encryption of sensitive files with a swipe of your pre-registered fingerprint.
