Fans of PC games will be excited by Samsung’s latest 19 inch LCD monitor designed to bring colours and gaming scenes to life.
Samsung claims the monitor is the first in the industry to realize 97 percent colour reproduction. The 97 percent colour gamut is enabled by Samsung’s Could Cathode Fluorescent Lamp. Apart from the colour, the company says the claimed 2000:1 contrast ratio will please gamers too, as it will allow them to see dark visuals clearly.
The monitor also promises a 2ms grey-to-grey response rate and MagicSpeed technology, which Samsung says allows gamers to “familiarise themselves with super-fast response times and change scenes at the blink of an eye, without ghosting”.
You may have seen this monitor before as it was previewed at the Australian finals of the World Cyber Games 2006 as the Games’ official monitor.
