Gingerbread Powered Nexus S Makes Vodafone Debut

Vodafone has become the first off the block with the Nexus S, the world’s first handset that is powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, which will be made available to its existing customers from today, and to new customers from next Wednesday, 16 March.Available on a range of high value plans including from $5 per month on a $65 Vodafone Infinite plan, Nexus S comes packed with Google’s powerful technology and the latest Samsung hardware features, and Vodafone customers have the privilege of being at the cutting edge with this new smartphone.

Nexus S delivers customers some of the latest screen and camera technologies available. Not only does it have the first 4 inch Super Clear LCD Contour Display, the screen features super-high WVGA 480×800 resolution and it benefits from new protection against stains and fingerprints.

Its 5 megapixel camera and 16GB internal memory are combined with superior mobile connectivity features and advanced multimedia performance to produce brilliant photo and video experiences and are supported by a 1GHz Samsung processor with a built-in graphic processor.
