Jennifer Hawkins – Lovable undies model and the face of Myer Australia, pictured – is one of the most dangerous Australian celebrities in cyberspace, according to security software vendor McAfee. But take care also looking for Russell Crowe or Cate Blanchett – they’re also dangerous, it seems.

McAfee has launched its annual list of the most dangerous celebrities to search for online. It warns that cybercriminals often use the names of popular celebrities to lure people to sites that are actually laden with malicious software.
Knight And Day movie star Cameron Diaz was named as the most dangerous global celebrity in cyberspace. Search for the latest Cameron Diaz pictures or downloads and you have a 10 percent chance of landing on a Web site that’s tested positive for online threats, such as spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware, McAfee says.
Most dangerous Australian is Nicole Kidman who rated equal seventh on the world top 10. Other dangerous Australian celebrities named by McAfee are models Imogen Bailey and Jennifer Hawkins, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Isla (“Mrs Borat”) Fisher.
