Jawbone is expanding its colour options for its UP2 and UP3 activity trackers, along with introducing a new design for the UP2, with the new line-up landing in the Australian market this month.The UP2, previously offered in black diamond and light grey hex with classic flat straps, is now available in six new colours, five of which feature a new design comprising two lightweight thin straps.
The UP2’s new colours comprise turquoise circle, oat spectrum, gunmetal hex, orchid circle and black diamond for its lightweight thin strap design and violet circle for the classic flat strap.
Jawbone is bringing four additional colours to the UP3, comprising indigo twist, ruby cross, sand twist and teal cross, in addition to the previously available colours of black twist and silver cross.

Jawbone has also recently released a free over-the-air firmware update for the UP2 and UP3, enabling new features such as automatic sleep detection, with users no longer needing to tap the band to enter and exit sleep mode.
Passive heart rate tracking, taken periodically throughout the day, has also been enabled for the UP3, which previously only measured resting heart rate and heart rate throughout the night, designed to provide users a more complete picture of their heart health.

The UP3 will be available in the four new colours for $249.00 from October at selected retail outlets,

The UP2 will be available from October in the six new colours for $149.00 from retail outlets and online.
