Portable and personal audio specialists Jaybird have shown off the next generation of their sports-focused earbuds, aimed at keeping competitor Apple at arms-length.Formerly branded as ‘Bluebuds’, Jaybird general manger for wearables Rory Dooley says “The new X3 headphones deliver supreme audio quality and secure sport fit, so you have the ultimate wireless accessory to your active life.”
Along with the additional utility afforded by an upgrade to Bluetooth 4.1, the Jaybird X3s are packing a significant edge in battery life – a total of eight hours on a single charge.
The Jaybird X3 Wireless Sport Headphones will be available in four colorful variations (Blackout, Sparta, Alpha and Road Rash) for a US RRP of $130.
