According to Kingston, data stored on the DataTraveler Locker+ is protected by 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption, with the drive locking down and reformatting after 10 incorrect password attempts. The company is also launching the DataTraveler Locker aimed at companies that need a USB drive that have both public and encrypted zone.

Kingston Technology’s Regional Manager, Vaughan Nankivell said, “Kingston created this drive to address the rise in data loss and theft which has been a growing problem with expensive consequences. This device gives companies a solution that is not only affordable but provides peace of mind in securing mobile data.”

The Kingston DataTraveler Locker+ is available now for $34.90 (4GB),  $49 (8GB), $139 (16GB), and $239 (32GB).
