Kitchen appliances are now as much of a design statement as furniture, says Kleenmaid. Its latest range of ovens and rangehoods are all designed with “statement” in mind. Its ovens are even available in Ferrari red.
“Sleek lines dominate the European kitchen trends,” said Mark Phillips, Interior Designer and General Manager of Kleenmaid’s KitchenLink division. “For example, rectangular cabinets of one material and colour intersect with contrasting horizontal surfaces. The result is an unexpected variety of heights, widths and colours.

Designed by Italy’s Lorenzo Lispi the Mini Om rangehood is wall-mounted and is constructed of tempered glass and painted black steel. It is designed to reduce noise by up to 30 percent.
“If you prefer a stove as the showpiece of the kitchen, there’s nothing quite like Kleenmaid’s new Professional Series of freestanding ovens,” said Mr Phillips.
“They can be custom designed in up to nine different colour options and four sizes. Colours like lime green, Ferrari red, yellow and black are perfect for the latest bold kitchen designs.”
The ovens are available in a range of configurations, and are hand-made in Italy from 304 grade stainless steel. They are priced from $4,499.
