LCD TV Gift War Gets Cranked Up A Notch By Samsung

Samsung Electronics Australia has upped the ante in its latest LCD giveaway; extending the promotion by an additional 10,000 bonus 22 inch TVs.

Samsung Electronics Australia has upped the ante in its latest LCD giveaway; extending the promotion by an additional 10,000 bonus 22 inch TVs.
Consumers who thought they might have missed out will still be eligible to redeem a bonus 22″ HD Samsung Series 4 LCD* (RRP $699) when they purchase selected models from Samsung’s new 2009 LED, LCD and Plasma Television ranges (40″ and above).

Since the promotion’s launch just three weeks ago on 20 June 2009, Samsung has already made 15,000 22″ Series 4 LCD TVs available to Australians looking to upgrade their whole home’s AV options in one swoop. The additional influx comes as a direct response to the mass consumer uptake and the channel’s overwhelmingly positive reaction to the landmark promotion.

Mark Leathan, Head of Marketing – Consumer Electronics, Samsung Electronics Australia, commented that the promotion’s success is proof that consumers are still looking to improve their home entertainment options despite the current economic climate.

“Australian consumers are clearly responding to what is a phenomenal proposition. When you’re offering consumers the chance to upgrade their living room whilst also getting a bedroom or rumpus room option, it’s something that really speaks for itself in terms of value.

“We’re delighted with the response to date, and look forward to giving another 10,000 Australians the chance to figure out exactly what they would do with a bonus LCD TV”.

Consumers claiming  their bonus TV is as easy as registering online at www.samsung.com.au/promotions and sending the original receipt of purchase to Samsung Electronics Australia. Selected models include Samsung’s Series 6, Series 7 and Series 8 LED TVs, 40 inch and above Series 6 and Series 7 LCD TVs and Series 680 and Series 8 Plasma TVs.  Full terms and conditions can be found at www.samsung.com.au/promotions

*$33 postage, handling and administration fee payable by the customer. Promotion to continue until allocation exhausted.
