Lenovo Take Out Top Honours In 2015 SmartHouse Best Of The Best Awards

The 2015 SmartHouse Best of The Best Awards will go live shortly.

The digital publication that in 2014 attracted over 600,000 unique visitors has become a benchmark for consumers looking to buy new consumer electronics, appliance and sound products.

This year we have expanded our coverage of both appliances and sound gear.

In its 14th year the awards are chosen by journalists and editors both in Australia and overseas who spend 12 months of the year writing about and reviewing the latest products. 

This year’s product of the Year is the Lenovo 3 Pro, Vendor of the year is also Lenovo.

This PC Company, who have had a lot of success in the B2B market recently broke into the consumer market with a new range of stylish PC’s and tablets.

Sound Distributor of the Year is Melbourne based Audio Active. Retailer of The Year is the Good Guys, Specialist Retailer of Year is camera retailer DigiDirect. 

Outstanding Industry Executive of the Year is Graeme Reardon the now CEO of networking company D-Link.

Reardon has been responsible for a remarkable turnaround of D-Link across both the consumer and B2B markets.

Best Digital Media Centre is Fetch TV, Best Media Player is the Humax4 Tune.

In the TV market Samsung, LG, Philips and Hisense have all come out winners.

The standout in the appliance section was Breville who took out four awards for their new Boss Blender, Oracle Coffee machine as well as two other appliances.

BenQ who won an award for Best Projector stunned us with the quality of their new Electrostatic Speakers.

On the tablet front Samsung cleaned up with their 10.5″ and 8.5″ models. They are thin, powerful and deliver wonderful display quality. Apple took out the Best All in One PC.
Smartphone of the Year went to the LG G3 while the action camera of the year went to the all-new HTC RE.

On the sound front the Bluesound won Best 24Bit Sound System while the new Denon Heos took out Wireless speaker of the Year. Best Headphones and Best In Ear headphones both went to Sennheiser. 

The digital publication which will be released next week contains over 60 Awards, it will be emailed to over one million people.
