LG Launches UHD And UltraWide Monitors, Designed For Smooth Gameplay

LG Australia has today launched two new UHD monitors, a curved and a flat monitor, along with a new UltraWide monitor, decked out for gaming.LG states that the monitors are designed to enhance cinematic feel, and deliver a wider view and improved immersion, with its UHD (27UD88), curved (34UC88) and flat (34UM88C) monitors “specifically fitted with a game feature that offers players smooth gameplay for an amazing real-world gaming experience”.

The monitors sport an ArcLine base and a borderless visual experience through a narrow four-side display bezel, and also come with USB-C and USB 3.0 Quick Charge for charging smartphones or transferring USB data.

With professional eSports athletes LG Dire Wolves in attendance for the launch of the monitors, Russ Prendergast, LG Electronics Australia marketing manager, noted that eSports as an industry “is worth around $1 billion and is continuing to grow”.

“Therefore, we need to be ahead of the game, providing the latest technology in our monitor range to meet the demands of professional gamers as well as the at-home enthusiasts,” Prendergast commented. “The new range offers this, with fantastic visual effects, game features and on-screen controls.”

Available now, the UHD (27UD88) is priced at $1,299 RRP, the curved (34UC88) $1,499 RRP and the flat (34UM88C) $1,499 RRP.
