LG Partners With The Color Run

LG Australia has teamed up with The Color Run, with several events, in which participants are doused in coloured powder, set to take place across Australia. The sponsorship will commence in Sydney this Sunday, August 21, with “Color Runners” (who wear white at the start line) to embark on a 5 km untimed run, doused with coloured powder at each kilometre.

The Tropicolor World Tour 2016 marks the fifth anniversary of the event, which is about having fun and promoting healthiness.

The tour will feature a “Foam Zone” sponsored by LG, which “will pump out a sea of bubbles to soap-up runners as they pass through the area”.

At the finish line, LG will also erect an “LG Dunk Tank”, taking the form of a giant LG washing machine, with race participants to “be able to submerge family and friends in water for the chance to win a host of fantastic prizes”.

“There is a clear synergy between The Colour Run and our large-capacity washing machines,” LG Australia marketing manager for home appliances Brad Reed commented.

“The estimated 16,000 people taking part in the Sydney race will produce a colossal amount of dirty laundry and the upcoming events in Australia will provide a fantastic opportunity to integrate our product and brand.”
