LG To Launch Steam Washer/Dryer

LG will release a combo steam washer/dryer in Australia later this month.

The company is hailing the combination machine as an Australian first. Steam technology is believed to use less water and energy than traditional washing and drying methods and also minimises garment shrinkage, thus extending its lifespan.

The specs of the WD-1255RD include:

· 10kg wash/6kg dry
·  1200rpm
· Dual wash system (steam and water)
· Steam refresh
· Direct drive motor system
· 10-year warrant on the motor
· Intelligent washing system
· Water recirculation
· Load sensing
· Condensing dryer
· 4.5 star energy rating
· Dimensions: 686x767x982
