LG Electronics who has already announced a swag of new products ahead of CES 2014 has confirmed that they will unveil a cnew Ultrabook (Model 13Z940) as well as second generation Tab-Book 2 Hybrid device.
While the availability of these models in the local Australian market is yet to be decided they will be shown to Australian retailers at CES.
Featuring slimmer designs, the company’s latest Windows 8.1 PC products weigh less than their predecessors and feature refined, minimalistic form factors. A key feature is LG’s IPS display technology which deliver motion clarity and a wide viewing angle.

LG Ultrabook – Lighter for More Mobility
The LG Ultrabook (Model 13Z940) weighs less than 1kg and sports a clean, minimalist design. LG’s streamlined model offers improved processing, excellent graphics performance and an extended battery life compared to its predecessor thanks to the Haswell Intel? CoreT i5 processor. The LG Ultrabook also provides fast booting with its solid-state drive (128GB or 256GB) for quick access and user convenience.
The new LG Ultrabook has a Full HD 13.3-inch IPS display that incorporates the company’s Narrow Bezel design for a convenient 4.4mm thin bezel. The LG Ultrabook measures only 13.6mm at its thickest point and weighs in at a very travel-friendly 980gms. The Ultrabook also features Reader Mode, allowing the user to alter the background of any onscreen image to resemble paper for easy reading.
LG Tab-Book 2 -Convenience At Your Fingertips
The latest Tab-Book 2 models build on the story of LG’s original Tab-Book, which made its first appearance at CES 2013. Running Windows 8.1, both new models in the Tab-Book series (Models 11T740 and 11T540) are offer 10-point touch control and slide-out QWERTY keyboards hidden under an 11.6-inch touch screen. With a press of a button on the side of the unit, the keyboard glides out from beneath the display for quick and easy use.
The flagship Tab-Book 2 (Model 11T740) is only 16.7mm thin, making it a superb solution for consumers wanting greater portability without sacrificing features. Tipping the scales at a just 1.05kg, this device incorporates an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a maximum brightness of 400nit lumens for viewing outdoors. Suitable for both on-the-go entertainment and work, LG’s Tab-Book 2 contains a fourth generation Intel? CoreT i5 processor to deliver outstanding performance and a fantastic user experience. The other Tab-Book 2 being unveiled at CES 2014 is the 11T540, which is even lighter at only 930gms and a thickness of just 13.7mm.
