LG has launched a new laundry care range that uses fewer moving parts resulting to reduced machine wear-and-tear and noise.

The new range includes a Stainless Steel Steam Washer, Steam Washer & Dryers, Combined Washer & Dryer, Front Load Washers and selected Top Load Washers.
According to LG, the Direct Drive System technology integrates the motor to the centre of the drum, eliminating the belt and pulley. This new design also increases stability, durability and energy efficiency. The Direct Drive Motor comes with a 10-year warranty (2 years parts & labour + 8 years on motor part).
In addition, the LG Steam Washer/Dryers, Combined Washer/Dryer, Steam Washer and Front load Washers come with a 4.5 star Water Rating.
LG’s Category Manager for Whitegoods, Glacel Lubrin-Zabat said, “LG is continually working to develop products that address consumer demands. With our new range of products, we have ensured the Direct Drive Motor is quieter, more efficient, more durable and covered by a ten year warranty for added peace of mind.”
All Steam Washer/Dryers and Steam Washer in this new range also feature the new Allergy Care Function and Steam Refresh Function providing a more hygienic wash, with selected washers in the range sporting larger doors for easy loading and unloading.
