LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, is partnering with Optus and 3, to offer customers free access to LinkedIn on their mobile phones in Australia. The LinkedIn mobile application will enable Optus and 3 customers to network wherever they are, raise their profile and build their brand online.
LinkedIn has more than 1.5 million members in Australia and New Zealand. Optus customers who connect to selected rate plans will be offered unlimited access to LinkedIn. And 3 will offer free access to LinkedIn for all new customers who connect to any postpaid contract, across all handsets including the Apple iPhone, BlackBerry and other compatible devices. The offer is available for 3’s Australian customers when accessed via the Planet 3 portal, mobile web or via LinkedIn’s mobile application.
