Madonna has scored a freebie from Microsoft boss Steve Ballmer. Imagine her surprise when a courier delivery truck rolled up with a spanking brand new “Surface Computer.”
The pop superstar received the gadget; a computer build into a 30-inch tabletop touch screen display which allows users to move digital pictures across the table with their fingers – as a thank you gift for recording the song Hey You for Live Earth.

“Steve Ballmer of Microsoft has sent me one of the best gifts I have ever received! It is called “Surface,” writes Madonna on her website. “It is a coffee-table shaped computer that responds to touch”.
“In addition to thumbing through thousands of my favourite family photos, I can listen to my music collection watch videos, etc. My children have also had a blast fingerpainting without getting their hands dirty!”
