MetroView Navigation App Optimised For iPad

MetroView has released a new turn-by-turn navigation application that is designed and optimised for the iPad.

According to the company, this application takes advantage of the large screen and displays an interface that is not pixelated and blurry. Map imagery is presented in more detail allowing users to see further ahead and take in features while driving. In addition, the optimised for iPad application includes iPad HD support, icon choices such as car plus caravan and truck, as well as increased outer zoom levels.

The MetroView Australia Turn-By-Turn Navigation application optimised for the iPad includes all the regular features from MetroView including Australian male or female accented voices, full GPS functionality with iOS 4 multitasking support, advanced lane guidance, as well as speed alerts.

It also provides frequent map updates with a simple plug and play capability, with the maps being stored on the iPad. The app also incorporates individual house numbering based on the official Australian Government database.

The MetroView Australia Turn-by-Turn application optimised for the iPad is available now for AU$24.99 through the Apple iTunes App Store.
